My Exit Strategy

Once my product has been developed and refined, I would ideally look to sell this concept to an established manufacturer.  If all goes well I am confident that demand for this vehicle would be extreme.  In order to meet this demand, I would need major manufacturing and distribution resources.  The best way to acquire these would be to align myself with an established vendor like Tesla or Toyota.  This would allow me to expand my brand in the quickest and simplest way possible.  All along I have anticipated major growth upon my technologies development. However, I refuse to limit my capacity as I could always outsource different tasks.

  1. Zach, I have a similar exit strategy as yours. I also would like to sell my concept rather than keeping it for a long time. I think teaming up with an established vendor is a great idea for your car. You can get a lot more exposure and credibility easily by aligning yourself with a reputable manufacturer.

  2. Great job with this post. I think that selling would be a great choice for you and your company. I don't think that you would be able to sell your design without going to a big manufacturer. The vehical industry is sadly too competitive to go in independently. Best of luck with you idea, I think that it will do great!

  3. Thank you for you post Zach, I really like how you have a pretty clear view of how you plan on developing your idea for the future. I think establishing your concept with such companies will be very good for you because they are very successful and have very good reputation.
